TSI BUILDING
The TSI Building, on North Campus, will be the main venue for this year's conference.
A flagship for Maynooth’s sustainability approach, the TSI Building is heated by air source heat pumps and has green roofs, a solar PV array and rainwater harvesting. It is constructed to the highest modern sustainability standards and is BREEAM and EXCEED certified.
In addition, by using the accommodation on the Maynooth Campus while Maynooth University students are on vacation, we avoid energy consumption by empty buildings. Find out more about our use of the campus accommodation on our WEBPAGE.
Catering for on-campus events will be provided by the Master Chefs team.
Sustainability is at the heart of the Master Chefs' operations, a company committed to running a zero-waste business. They note on their company webpage:
From the rich organic soils at Ellan Farm, to our 10,000 square feet central production unit, our ambition is a fully circular food system where every resource is valued. This is realised through our commitment to be a zero-waste business.
