The first Celtic Conference in Classics was held at Maynooth in 2000.
The Department of Ancient Classics at Maynooth University is now delighted to host its 17th edition, from 14-17 July 2026.
Whether you are participating in a panel or would like to be part of the in-person conference week, you are very welcome to REGISTER by Friday 3rd July and be part of our conference.

The list of the 28 individual panels for Maynooth 2026 is available HERE.
By the 31 March 2026, panel organisers will assemble their panels. Calls for individual papers will now be issued if required; please do contact the panel organisers directly if you are interested in contributing work on a specific topic.
